Meet our Founder
Arlie Hollindale - Connecting our future workforce

Championing initiative and innovation to create learning experiences for her students, Arlie’s desire to bridge the identified gap between education and industry, occurred naturally within her first teaching role in Chinchilla, Queensland. Always an advocate for accessing valid opportunities of equality for students, in particular in regional and remote areas, Arlie promotes and drives a culture of change mind-set within an organisation.
“There is a real appetite from students to gain authentic and valued learning whilst in school. Industry desires a workforce which is suitably qualified and skilled and is reaching out for solutions to the workforce shortage. By collaborating to develop cross-sectoral partnerships, we can create educationally recognised programs and industry-driven relationships with social enterprising outcomes, whilst growing a highly skilled workforce.”
PATHWAYS2INDUSTRY WAS BORN.
Pathways2Industry acts as a conduit between industry, community, and education to build cross-sectoral partnerships for student-focused workforce growth, by developing pioneering industry-led programs of distinction.
“Investing in a student-first focus when workforce planning, promotes early engagement in the influencing of student decision making, and industry can access to nurture a larger, but younger talent pool, funnelling them directly into their doors.”
As a guest presenter at the SEGRA Foundation National Regional and Economic Development Summit, Arlie incites the action for industry and schools to engage in more authentic learning conversations and experiences to funnel the untapped workforce hidden in schools, toward industry-driven employment.
She has also presented to the Australasian Alliance of All Girls Schools regarding Industry Partnership Program Development and been a key-note speaker toward Collaborative Industry Partnerships – Marketing the Sector in Health and Community.
Holding extensive experience which spans over 25 years in education, training and industry liaison roles, Arlie demonstrates success in understanding both sides of the workforce equation, navigating the development of connections to build growth and expansion roadmaps for her industry, school and community partners.

She is a Women in Leadership Scholarship recipient and two-time National Excellence in Teaching Award nominee, collaborating within Industry Skills Working Partys and Planning and Action Groups. Heading Learning Pathways and incepting the Mater Education Partnership and Health Training Facility at Fairholme College, has been one of her most rewarding accomplishments throughout her education career, as well as enjoying her current role within the Heart of Australia Team developing the NextGen Medics program.
With a tertiary background in Business (Finance and Hospitality) and Education (Senior Accounting and Business), as well as holding a Certificate IV in Career Development and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, her knowledge-base and experience expands across varying sectors.
Arlie has lived and worked in both metro and rural Queensland, as well as internationally and interstate and now resides in regional Queensland. She enjoys time spent at the beach and on the family farm with her husband and three daughters, as she moves into a new phase of innovation working with her industry and education partners across Queensland and New South Wales.
